Default UW Aggro Bug

Why has this not been fixed yet? I posted it 4 months ago, and no-one from Anet has even attempted to fix it.

And no, it's not the Droks forever running after you aggro bug.

It's only ever happened to me in the UW, but it's lame they've not fixed it.

When I'm solo'ing the UW, I clear out the grasps, fine.

Sometimes, when I go to run past the ataxe on the way to the Ice wastes, they make aggro. No problem, they're meant too. But if they land a hit on me, and then once aggro is broken, they keep doing damage even if I'm miles out of their aggro spot and they've returned to their original point and broken aggro.

This make's soloing the UW pointless, as I can't solo it with them attacking me even if we are miles apart.

Please can you fix this Anet, it's happening far too much. Happened twice last night.

I think that's kinda supposed to happen.
Arena-Net isn't so fond of farmers, which is sad, farming is fun

In that build you are supposed to run past those axates.

It's a collisionbug...it does not only occur in UW. It's happend to me a LOT in GvG. It's so annoying when you get hit from miles away.

This usually happens when the one that's attacking you gets stuck behind something. He doesn't move, nor is he able to, but he still hits you.

I think this bug exists since the beginning of GW.

More something to do with miscommunication between your comp and their server. Either you're still reported as standing there or the aatxe is still chasing you, but to you, it looks like you're miles away.

Yes a collision/lag problem. I rarely see it in PvE, mostly when running and getting stuck. But I often see it in PvP. You run away, are safe, but then you see damage numbers on you and the descriptions are for melee attacks but nobody is near you. Then you realise it's happened again. A few seconds later you warp back and reappear wherever you got stuck. To the person hitting you it looks like you just stopped fighting, stopped using skills, and stood there to take a beating.

I think it is also what causes the problems getting up stairs or past NPCs. Unless you take a wide berth, the server can think you walked into a wall instead of the stairs because where the server thinks you are and where you think you are differ slightly.

It has, it's unfixable, and it happens in other games ... It's called the "Space Time Continuum"

If you are getting hit from miles away try typing in the command /stuck that will usually warp you back if it is a miscommunication between your comp and the server.
